Health Insurance Benefits
When using your health insurance benefits, there are still likely to be some out-of-pocket costs that will be your responsibility, such as unmet deductibles, coinsurance, copayments, and professional services not covered by your plan (e.g, services related to legal matters, writing special reports, etc.). Payment of these costs is required prior to, or at the time of service.
Even if you have some other insurance plan that is not listed above, you may still be able to use your benefits, especially if you have a PPO plan that gives you the flexibility to work with non-network providers.
Missed Appointments & Late Cancellations
Unless you and your therapist/psychologist have discussed specific exceptions, you will be charged for missed appointments and for cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment.
