Dr. Robinson is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist and certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider practicing in Prince William County, VA.

Dr. Robinson’s approach to psychotherapy is integrative. She uses empirically validated approaches to promote autonomy, self awareness, and acceptance of oneself and others. She believes that psychotherapy should help one overcome stressful life experiences to lead a fuller, happier life. Dr. Robinson relies on practical, realistic interventions tailored to one’s individual life goals and circumstances. She works with teens (aged 16 and older) and adults. Her areas of expertise include the treatment of anxiety, depression, and trauma. Dr.Robinson is fluent in Spanish and welcomes Spanish speaking clients.

In addition to therapy, Dr. Robinson offers a wide range of forensic evaluations including psychosexual risk assessments, evaluations for Sexually Violent Predator (SVP) commitments, mitigation reports, violence risk assessments, and capital sentencing proceedings. Dr. Robinson also provides consultation and expert testimony.

After graduating with a BS in psychology and BA in Spanish Literature from Virginia Tech, Dr. Robinson completed her master’s and doctoral studies at the American School of Professional Psychology in 2012. She has worked in a variety of settings including an inpatient psychiatric hospital, the Department of Juvenile Justice, outpatient sex offender treatment programs, and adult detention centers.
